What can the scope include?

What needs separate agreement?
- Theme design and store setup, unless agreed in the scope.
- Shopify Plus or other subscription fees.
- App Store review timelines for public apps.
- Ongoing support and hosting costs unless included in the quote.

Questions before we start
How much does a project cost?
We agree a fixed price against a written scope. The quote identifies delivery milestones, third-party costs and any separate ongoing support.
How long will delivery take?
We confirm the delivery plan after reviewing the workflow and dependencies. Scope changes and external approvals are handled explicitly.
Public app or custom app?
Most stores need a custom app installed only on their own store. A public App Store listing only makes sense when you plan to sell the app to other merchants.
Do we need Shopify Plus?
Not usually. Some checkout customisations require Plus; we check this against your plan before we quote.
Who hosts the app?
We agree that in the scope: on your own cloud account, or on infrastructure we set up and hand over to you.
Can you deliver under our agency’s name?
Yes. For white-label engagements, your agency retains the client relationship and billing. We agree the software scope with you and only communicate with your client with your approval.
